World Mental Health Day: Yoga and Relaxation

Join Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure for Yoga in Valentines Mansion to celebrate World Mental Health Day. Yoga is a type of movement routine that combines strength and cardiovascular exercise. Along with positive physical health benefits, yoga can impact our mental health and wellbeing in a positive way. Through yoga, experience relief from symptoms of anxiety and depression and stress whilst boosting your mood. Enjoy guided breathing and relaxation techniques to foster calmness. London Borough of Redbridge have partnered with Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure and Redbridge Institute of Adult Education to deliver this session as part of their new project: Active Body, Healthy Mind.


Mats will be provided on the day. If you have your own mat, please feel free to bring this along with you. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise and bring water to keep hydrated. Instructions on how to get to Valentines Mansion (via car, bus or tube) and parking instructions will be forwarded to you upon booking as part of a confirmation email. On arrival, please head to the front entrance where you'll be checked in with one of the team in Reception. Adults only (19+) One of the following ID required on the day of the event. ● Birth Certificate ● Driving License ● National ID Card ● National Insurance Card ● Passport ● Residence Permit ● Utility Bill (in participant’s name)
